Moved Up to Wisconsin Today - Very Windy

Moving Day - need an attitude adjustment.  Finding that we've still got a lot to learn about set up and tear down.  Frustrating, to say the least.  But, after a hectic morning and a bit of a delay getting on the road, we hit Wal Mart for supplies (didn't provide the attitude adjustment needed) and Starbucks (very close).  Patti did better than Dale - as usual.

There's an old adage that says something like, "Be careful what you wish for, you may get it."  We've been looking forward to cooler temperatures, knowing that the Fall Colors will follow.  We are just north of Janesville WI and it is forecast to be below 50 degrees Fahrenheit tonight.  We haven't yet turned on the heat and it is already 63 degrees in the RV.

A fairly short travel day, today.  Woke up to rain.  It did clear a bit before we had to tear down and load the van on the tow dolly.  We're getting better each time.  Good highway most of the way.  The winter weather is brutal on the highway system.  We've heard many times, "There are two seasons in northern Illinois: Winter and Construction Season."  The drive was very windy, gusts up near 20 mph.  The RV did lots of moving around  Fortunately, no rain.

Got in early this evening (actually, late this afternoon).  Set up well before dark.  Looking forward to visiting friends in the area.  Stay tuned for the adventure.

111 miles today.
