Starting Week Four / First NFL Sunday of the Season

Hard to believe we've been on the road for three weeks.  Looks like it is going to warm up for the next few days.  We've started to think about winter RVing.  What?  Well, today was a beautiful Florida Winter day here in Wisconsin - 72 degree high with lots of sunshine.

We showed up here (Hidden Valley RV Resort) on Friday with no reservation.  We got the kind of slot we needed, but could only stay for Friday and Saturday.  To stay this evening, we had to move one slot over - interesting.  So, today was a kind of moving day.  Moving days have not worked well in the very recent past, but this morning went very well.  Hope that is a precursor for future moving days, like tomorrow.  We're headed north again in the morning - only two days out from our Mackinac Island Experience.  Really excited to see what this is all about.

We both slept very well last night and got a bit of a late start this morning.  Late this afternoon we ventured into Madison to visit with some long time friends.  Dale had contacted both LaVonne Stadola and Barb Kachelski on Friday about meeting at a convenient Starbucks for coffee.  One thing led to another and we all ended up at the Kachelski's for a great cookout (Grillmaster Joe Kachelski) and great conversation.  Mary Arnold & Kristina Mattson-Grimm were with us early on, but had to leave before all the food came out.  What fun!  Thanks Barb and Joe for making us feel so much at home, LaVonne and Tom, thank you for helping to make the day special.  We'll be back.
