Enjoyed Our Last Full Day in Vermont

Heading to Concord, New Hampshire in the morning. Time to stock up on some necessities. Dale has been pretty frustrated with our ability (or lack there of) to easily find our way around. Exit markings are interesting and confusing. Patti even commented, "The places we've gotten lost are starting to look familiar." We did find our way to and from the stores. Once we got things put away, we thought we'd retrace some previous steps.

You may recall that on that first morning we were in Burlington VT we located a Starbucks in the downtown area. It was located on Church Street's Sidewalk Mall. The parking meter we found that morning was only a 15 minute meter, so we had to get our coffee and move on.  Patti really liked the looks of the area, so we made a trip back there today to close out our Vermont stay.

In addition to the stores and restaurants that line Church St, there are sidewalk vendors and performers. While it was a sunny, cool day (56 degrees), the locals were out in force for lunch and shopping. It was fun watching the people. Dale thought many of them needed more clothes, especially a sweater or coat and some could have used long pants. But, its all in what you're used to. For those who live here, it was a beautiful, sunny day.

Packed and ready to head out in the morning. Concord, here we come.
