Made it to Vermont

After a very cold night in the Southern Adirondak Mountains, we headed north. Why? Shouldn't we be looking for a warmer climate? Well, chilly weather is the price we pay for Fall Color. It takes the right amount of rain and coolness to make it happen. Nice day for a drive. And, we didn't see much Interstate Highway, sort of the scenic Byway. Up and down hills and around mountains, a little close at times; but, it was beautiful. Made it to Burlington VT, on the eastern banks of Lake Champlain. We're planning a day trip to Stowe VT. And, thinking about a ferry ride to the New York side of the Lake. That would be fun.

Staying here for three or four days. Then on the New Hampshire.
